Outback was contracted to realign transmission lines and distribution poles to accommodate a major roadway improvement project serving the town of Lincoln, CA. The one-year project required close coordination with roadway construction crews, multiple active deadlines, and large-scale drilling and ground operations to complete the power line realignment on schedule.

Full Scope of Work

Power Line Realignment
  • Realignment of transmission lines and poles to clear the new roadway corridor
  • Coordination with roadway construction contractor to sequence utility relocation ahead of road grading and paving
  • As-built documentation provided to PGE and roadway project Owner upon completion
Drilling & Foundation Work
  • Eight drills deployed simultaneously to maintain the project’s aggressive realignment schedule
  • New pole and structure foundations installed along the realigned corridor
  • Drilling operations coordinated to avoid conflicts with active roadway construction
Field Operations
  • 38 ground personnel deployed across the project for a full year of construction
  • Multiple intermediate deadlines met to keep pace with roadway construction milestones
